Heart of the Farm Award

Honoring Margaret Block

This year, we were proud to honor Margaret Block with the Heart of the Farm Award.

Kind, conscientious, and always willing to help others, Margaret embodies the spirit of Jasper Ridge Farm. As she says, the heart of the farm isn't any one person — it's the staff, the volunteers, and the community who show up in support.

A Story About Jasper Ridge Farm

Kyle Booker shared the impact Jasper Ridge Farm has had on him and his family.

"The relationships that we have established with the animals and the friendships that we have made with other volunteers and staff have made this more than a volunteer opportunity, but rather an experience that is not best described as a bullet on a resume, but as a milestone and memories in my life that I hold near and dear."
