What is Farm Day?

Farm Day is a monthly community open house at Jasper Ridge Farm, offering individuals and families an opportunity to visit the Farm and learn more about the programs and services we offer.

Visitors can spend time with our animals, explore the Farm, and connect with our staff and community. Farm Day also offers an introduction to Jasper Ridge Farm’s animal-assisted, adaptive, and educational programs, and the ways we work to create meaningful experiences for people of all ages and abilities.

What to Wear

Farm Day is an outdoor experience, and conditions vary throughout the year, so come prepared:

Comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor activities
Closed-toe, comfortable shoes
Layers, as temperatures can change throughout the day
Sun protection, including sunscreen and a hat

Wear clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dusty or dirty.

During Your Visit

Because our animals are active participants in the experience, animal interactions are always guided by staff and based on the animal’s comfort and willingness to engage.

We ask all visitors to follow staff instructions and respect the animals’ space throughout their visit.
